Trienna Table
This incredibly distinctive table is formed from three sheets of pressed birch veneer. Designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in the 1950s, the hexagonal table top is supported by three triangular legs. The seams between the pieces create a beautiful pattern on the table top. Lightweight and easy to transport, the Trienna Table is elegant by itself or as a fine centrepiece for creating exciting combinations.

Artek
Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by Alvar Aalto, Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen and Nils-Gustav Hahl, to sell furniture and to promote a modern culture of living.
Ilmari Tapiovaara
Tapiovaara was a pioneer of Finnish post-war design. He believed good furniture should be made for everyday use and made in quantity. His Trienna table (1954) uses a three-legged plan so that it never rocks, and fits naturally into a corner or a group.
