90D Table

Alvar Aalto, 1935

The 90D table is a larger version of the 60 stool. The Finnish birch from which it is made boasts a natural beauty and radiates warmth; environmentally friendly, it will age gracefully over time. As with all Aalto products, Table 90D continues to be fabricated semi-industrially, according to strict criteria and with a high proportion of hand craftsmanship.

Alvar Aalto

One of the founding figures of modern architecture. With his wife Aino, Aalto designed the furniture for his own buildings, the Paimio Sanatorium and the Viipuri Library. Bending Finnish birch, he gave modernism a warmer, more human material.
